yo! i've held one of those plastic babies! it made me feel all maternal inside as if my clock was ticking. but on the reals i even rode in a truck with one. i think he was born in blue room.

they are made out of tape. but i don't understand how they make them all exactly the same as if with a mold, but they don't appear to be cut. of course maybe they are and just taped over again.

this is the process as i understand it: babies are aquired from various standard sources, ie baby black market, fetal-mart, china etc. A laborious artisinal process is then undertaken in which the infant is first sedated with nyquil (or tussin) and then covered in that gauze used to make casts. the baby is then extracted through the nose holes, in a process very similar to ancient egyptian mummification techniques. keep in mind that babies are all pliable and soft and stuff, and that the bones havent really hardened. a baby is like 90% water, and 10% snot. the cast is then cut in half and the inside is lined with clear tape. then in the final step, the cast is soaked in kerosene and burned off, leaving a perfectly formed clear plastic baby.
